Who is going to invoice me for the purchases I make on the site?
GourmetOrigins.com is a venue which means that, although we facilitate the trade, all transactions are between you (the consumer) and the producer, and therefore it is the producer who is going to invoice you.

Who is shipping the product?
All products purchased through GourmetOrigins.com are shipped directly from the producer.

How are you shipping the products?
We have partnered with a number of transport and courrier companies. As some of these services require signature, please, make sure the address you provide is the one where it is more likely there will be someone to pick up the package.

Why do you ask for country in addition to language?
This is in order to calculate shipping rates. Transport fees are based on your location and the distance to the producer you are ordering from.

Can I add products from different producers to the same shopping basket?
Yes, you can check out with one single shopping basket, however, shipping rates are going to be added separately for each of the producers.

What happens if a product is broken or damaged when it arrives? What if it is not what I was expecting? Or it simply has not arrived?
Please contact us on info@gourmetorigins.com within 7 days of reception or in case the product has failed to arrive and we are going to arrange a replacement or a refund.

Why you only operate in the UK and Spain?
These are the markets we know best and where, at present, we are are better able to guarantee our standards of service.  We do have plans to increase our coverage soon, though, and it is possible that we will be adding more countries soon.

Can I order from a country other than the UK and Spain?
Yes, but you will need to get in touch with us directly at info@gourmetorigins.com so that we can provide you a shipping rate estimate. We might not be able to ship to certain countries outside the European Union.

Why can’t I find any wine, beer or drinks that contain alcohol on the marketplace?
Alcohol is subject to specific regulations and taxes, which makes the operation of the marketplace a bit more complex. We are evaluating the possibility of adding them to the marketplace in the near future though.

What are your criteria when selecting products for the marketplace?
Please refer to our Producer Guidelines.

I know of a really great product that is not yet in the marketplace. Would you be able to add it?
