Oleícola de l'Empordà

Oleícola de l’Empordà S.L. was founded by Martí Clos, whose family has been involved in the production of extra virgin olive oil since, at least, the 19th Century. Our oil is comes from the olive groves of the Clos de la Torre estate, located in Garriguella, in the Empordà region of Catalonia, right on the border with France. We grow a local variety of olive, called Argudell. We harvest at the time when the olive is at the optimal point of ripeness and process it immediately in order to achieve the best flavour and aroma.
