Our Story

The artisan bakery Soles de Gredos continues a long family tradition of handcrafted pastries, cakes and biscuits. It has been in the López family for three generations. Today after more than 80 years, Soles de Gredos is still a small family run bakery offering a variety of pastries using the same original recipes. The López family run the business founded by Emiliano López Jiménez on 1928 in Hoyocasero, province of Avila, Castile and Leon in the heart of Sierra de Gredos in Spain. “We continue working as he taught us. We prepare our pastries and cakes in the traditional and handcrafted way”. All our products them do so with a constant selection of the best 100% natural ingredients, without any additives, no preservatives or colorants.
